Built in the 1920's, the grand Art Deco style Park Lane Hotel with a white-stone façade and red mansard roof is set on Piccadilly in the exclusive central London area of Mayfair, half a mile from Buckingham Palace. The 305 high-ceilinged guestrooms laid out over eight floors have views of Green Park or leafy Mayfair and boast original fireplaces. The understated decor complements the Art Deco features. Sightseers will find the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey both one and half miles away and St Paul's Cathedral three miles away. Green Park is the closest Underground station and London Heathrow Airport is 15 miles from the hotel, an approximate driving time of 45 minutes.

The Heathrow Express train service to London Paddington Station leaves every 15 minutes. The airport is also on the Underground's Piccadilly Line, which takes passengers straight to Green Park underground station. London's black taxi cabs also service Heathrow Airport and cost 40-50 GBP to central London. Bus services include the Airbus Heathrow shuttle to London Victoria or King's Cross railway stations.
